Sketch Reading

For ActBroward's first meeting of March, the group discussed various approved and submitted grant proposals for the organization and the productions that accompany these proposals.

The group performed a microstudy of three sketches submitted for our sketch showcase, with the writers of each sketch opening themselves up to critiques and suggestions.

The groups director and educational facilitator, Ed Casas, discussed the importance of actioning, where an actor assigns a transitive, action verb to each unit and/or beat of dialogue within a script.
