Join Not Your Average Theater Group and ActBroward for their collaborative Annual Multi-Production Casting Call on June 17, 2023, from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM at the Soref JCC at Plantation, 6501 W Sunrise Blvd, Plantation, FL 33313.
Not Your Average Theater Group will be auditioning for volunteer performers for their theatrical short-play showcase to be performed on August 12 and the performers will have to be available in the evening in the week leading up to the performance. Rehearsals are flexible, they may take place during the day, or the evening depending on the director and the cast. The evening requirement is tech week which is the week leading up to the performance.
ActBroward and accompanying filmmakers will be scouting for actors for future films.
Pay dependent on individual producers and productions.
By registering for this event you will guarantee your spot in the audition process to perform in front of several independent filmmakers from South Florida.
To truly showcase your talent and demonstrate your commitment to the craft of acting, we highly recommend preparing a 1-2 minute monologue to perform at the audition. While this is not a strict requirement, it's an opportunity to show your dedication and skill, and could very easily set you apart from the crowd.
Be prepared to cold read from scripts.
Questions on paid or volunteer opportunities are dependent on arrangements with attending filmmakers and producers.
