Odets and Meisner Exercises
On February 25th ActBroward discussed their future sketch showcase of 10 sketches to be performed on a Saturday night, live and in-person.
Other announcements made was the approval for a grant funding for a future series of acting workshops culminating in a monologue and duet-scene showcase.
The day culminated in Meisner “Door & Activity” exercises where actors were once again asked to observe & listen to their scene partners, with the only dialogue being what they observe in their partner, or themselves.
Two of our youngest members took part in our Meisner exercise, it was a pleasure to watch them work-through the exercise.
